Artist Statement

As a contemporary painter, I explore the relationship between emotional experience and visual harmony through colour, rhythm and compositional balance. My work investigates how complex psychological states can be translated into dynamic pictorial structures, where contrast, fragmentation and cohesion coexist within a unified visual field.

My practice is deeply informed by my long-standing interest in psychological self-development and human emotional processes. Rather than illustrating these ideas directly, I approach them through the language of painting. Vibrant colour contrasts, layered surfaces and rhythmic compositions become tools to explore the tension between instability and equilibrium, reflecting the ways individuals navigate change, uncertainty and growth.

Through these visual structures, I seek to create paintings that embody both intensity and balance. The interaction of colour and form generates a sense of movement and internal dialogue within the canvas, allowing each work to unfold as a space of reflection rather than a fixed narrative.

Ultimately, my work explores painting as a field where emotional complexity can take visual form. By transforming psychological insight into colour relationships and compositional rhythms, my practice invites the viewer to engage with the painting as a living structure of energy, perception and inner resonance.
